One of Samsung’s software teams developed an ultra-low-latency audio solution — the first of its kind for Android. Our marketing and planning teams then began discussing how this new technology could be applied in the market.

During this process, DAW development emerged as one of the ideas, even under the tight schedule of preparing for the Galaxy Note 4 launch. The Auditory UX team proposed several application plans and ultimately obtained approval to begin pilot development of a mobile DAW.
