Biddz (for fans)
Biddz is a Web3-based social platform where fans can connect directly with artists and go beyond simply consuming music to participating and owning it. As the Head of Design team / Product Designer, I was responsible for the entire design process—from problem definition and research to UX flow design and hand off to Design system development.

Problem and Challenge
- Fans wanted a deeper connection with their favorite artists, but existing social media limited them to simple follows and likes.
- Artists lacked both a sustainable revenue model and a direct communication channel with their audience.
- Web3 technologies (NFTs, wallets, tokens) felt complex and intimidating, creating a barrier to entry for mainstream users.
Goal
- Design a fan experience that is as intuitive and engaging as TikTok
- Simplify the NFT ownership flow into a seamless and intuitive process
- Build a trustworthy interface for both fans and artists
- Create a scalable design system ready for global expansion
Design
Ideation & Wireframe
- Simplified the fan → artist → participation flow into a three-tab structure
- Reduced the NFT purchase flow to 1–2 clicks for ease of use
Design
- Full-screen layout with audio/video content at the center
- Replaced technical NFT terms with intuitive labels like Collect and Own
- Visual identity: bold colors and dynamic card-based UI to reflect fan energy and creativity

Outcome
- After the beta launch, biddz achieved high engagement rates among early fan communities
- Provided artists with a new channel for fan connection and revenue generation
- Translated complex Web3 interactions into a familiar social media-like experience for mainstream fans
Takeaways
- Learned how to translate Web3 technology into a user-friendly experience
- Confirmed that fast, engaging interactions are the core of fan community apps
- Gained experience in balancing the needs of two distinct user groups: creators (artists) and participants (fans)
